Job Title: Bookkeeper / Accountant (Volunteer Role)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and ministry-minded Bookkeeper/Accountant who loves Jesus Christ and desires to use their financial skills to serve the Kingdom of God. This individual will help ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting, and stewardship of resources that support missionaries and churches around the world.
This is a volunteer position, ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference behind the scenes through faithful financial service.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, and donations.
Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for leadership and board review.
Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and IRS reporting requirements.
Track donor contributions and assist with donor acknowledgment processes.
Help develop and monitor organizational budgets.
Coordinate with external professionals (e.g., CPA or auditor) as needed.
Handle sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
A clear and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Agreement with Agape Technical Support’s mission and Statement of Faith.
Experience in bookkeeping or accounting (nonprofit experience preferred).
Familiarity with accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Wave, or similar).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently from home.
Commitment to accuracy, transparency, and integrity in financial matters.
Willingness to serve as a volunteer and contribute time as part of a ministry team.

Important Note:
All positions with Agape Technical Support are currently volunteer roles. Volunteers are responsible for their own insurance, travel, and expenses, though Agape Technical Support may be able to help offset some costs when possible.
