Job Title: Social Media Specialist (Volunteer Role)

Organization Overview:
Agape Technical Support is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping missionaries and churches with technology tools that help advance the gospel and strengthen ministry. Our mission is to glorify Jesus Christ by removing barriers, empowering ministry leaders, and ensuring that the message of Christ reaches as many people as possible.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative and ministry-minded Social Media Specialist who loves Jesus Christ and has a passion for using digital communication to share His story. This individual will help expand Agape Technical Support’s online presence by creating and managing social media content that inspires, informs, and engages our supporters and ministry partners.

This is a volunteer position, ideal for someone who enjoys social media, storytelling, and using digital platforms to advance the Kingdom of God.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage engaging social media content that reflects the organization’s mission and values.

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase awareness and engagement.

• Coordinate posts, stories, and updates across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.

• Collaborate with the leadership team to promote ministry updates, volunteer opportunities, and giving campaigns.

• Monitor analytics to help improve communication effectiveness.

• Ensure that all content honors Christ and maintains a tone of authenticity and encouragement.

Qualifications:

• A clear and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

• Agreement with Agape Technical Support’s mission and Statement of Faith.

• Experience managing or creating content for social media platforms (personal or organizational).

• Strong writing, visual, and storytelling skills.

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and stay organized.

• A heart to serve and a desire to use technology for Kingdom impact.

• Willingness to serve as a volunteer and represent the ministry online with integrity.

Important Note:
All positions with Agape Technical Support are currently volunteer roles. Volunteers are responsible for their own insurance, travel, and expenses, though Agape Technical Support may be able to help offset some costs when possible.
